A thriving entertainment scene that lets you pick just how much you want to relax or rebound. That’s where farm credit organizations can be especially useful. They’re a type of financial institution created to provide the financing required to establish homesteads, farms and ranches – and to help them grow. So their agents are experienced in underwriting and managing rural land loans, and may have product types that can cover a lot of your needs, like “land plus home” combo loans and loans for barns, equipment, and tools.
That will vary by developer – and even by site. All Raydient Rural communities have access to electricity. We can also recommend contractors to install your well-water and septic sewage systems, and a limited number of our rural communities even have access to city water.
Since they specialize in rural land sales, rural land brokers have speciality knowledge that can come in handy. For example, they can help guide to the right sources of information about land use requirements and zoning. They can also provide site-specific guidance (such as insights on well and septic installation) and often know exactly which contractors to call for land clearing, inspections, insurance, surveys, etc.
Baldwin County has just the right mix of what’s right about rural living: The space to spread out and all the advantages of being in good company.
Put down stakes in the northern or central parts of the county, and you’ll be near the wildlife and waterways that give the Tensaw River Delta its unique character. But you won’t be far from everything else the county has to offer, either, like more than 550 restaurants, 100 annual events, or 32 miles of coastal beaches. Rural Baldwin County really does offer the “best of both worlds,” since you can have plenty of treasured downtime at your rural homestead and then give your uptime a healthy kick on water or on land.
Baldwin County is next door to Mobile, so when you buy rural land in Baldwin County, you’ll be able to squeeze in all the adventure you want without feeling a tight squeeze around you. To and from work, school or play, you’ll be surrounded by gently rolling hills, pine forests and plenty of water (including river systems, natural harbors and bayous). And while you’ll already feel “away from it all” under the pine canopy of your own backyard, you can get a totally different feel through a short drive to the cool white sand beaches at Orange Beach, Perdido Beach and Gulf Shores.
